  3. Well, I'm so glad you are confused. That means I still have a job as a math teacher for another week!

    #21 & #22 are examples of good ol' algebra trying to mooch-in on all the fun we've been having with geometry.

    In #21, the sum of the interior angles is 360 (thm 3-13) right? So x + 2x + 3x + 4x = ??... shirley, we can solve this! Sketch a picture and I think you'll deduce a pair of || segments.

    In #22, the sum of the interior angles of a pentagon is (5 - 2)180 or 540, right? So 60 + 130 + 3x + 3x + x = 540, right? Again, a sketch should help you deduce the || segments.

    In #23, by def "regular" means equiangular and equilateral (e.g. a square is simply a "regular" quadrilateral, right?). So, again, we should he able to sketch the situation and deduce the answer to the question.

    See how you do with the rest and we will discuss in class on Tuesday.

    Note to Sara... don't struggle too much with #29, since that question is invisible and, therefore, very difficult to sketch!! :)
